MRH - Richmond Names Physician and Advanced Practice Provider of the Year

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. -- FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital (MRH) – Richmond has awarded Lorin Johnson, M.D., a hospitalist, 2023 Physician of the Year and Ian Stack, PA-C, emergency medicine physician assistant, 2023 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) of the Year.

Members of the MRH-Richmond clinical staff nominated the providers for the annual honors.

Nominations described Dr. Johnson as a compassionate and friendly provider who always puts patients first and a supportive and collaborative member of the team. Staff recognized Dr. Johnson for always showing kindness and respect to others and her approachable and welcoming manner.

Stack was nominated for his caring and compassionate approach. One nomination read, “Ian has deep concerns with patient care and goes to every level to provide for patients’ needs.” Stack was also recognized for taking time to educate staff during teachable moments to help them grow in their practice.
