The Women & Children’s Center at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital has been designed to serve the unique medical needs of women, children and infants. The Women & Children’s Center combines the latest technology with the compassionate care of our highly trained physicians and staff to assure that every patient-care experience is a comfortable and secure one.

Labor and Delivery Room

You will be assigned to a Labor & Delivery and Recovery Room at Moore Regional Hospital, where experienced nurses will support and care for you as you prepare to deliver. Each of these rooms is equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring, a whirlpool tub and labor aids including Birthing Balls.

Mother-Baby Postpartum Room

After you give birth, you will move to a Mother-Baby/Postpartum room at Moore Regional Hospital, where a nurse will care for both you and your newborn.

NICU

The 13-bed NICU is staffed by specially trained nurses and physicians. The NICU is family-centered to ensure that infants requiring more than routine nursery care can still have their families close by.

Pediatrics

Our all-private room Pediatrics Unit cares for babies and children up to 18 years.
