The Hospice House on the FirstHealth Hospice Campus provides the community with the resources to care for patients and their families, as well as services for education, bereavement and adjustment to loss. Located just a short distance from FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, the Hospice campus is also home to the FirstHealth Grief Resource & Counseling Center, the Hospice Chapel and the Hospice Gardens.
FirstHealth Palliative Care is housed in the new FirstHealth Cancer Center and is provided by a team of professionals dedicated to relieving suffering and improving quality of life for patients and families affected by serious illness. Palliative Care is offered along with all other appropriate medical treatments. The focus is on the needs of the patient, whether those needs concern pain and symptom control, counseling, spiritual needs or coordinating links to other community services.
