This program strives to support individuals living with cancer through exercise and education. The program works to enhance every participants' experience through the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.
Program Goals:
• Ease the transition between cancer treatment and daily living
• Enhance the lives of patients through exercise, education and group support
• Empower participants to make successful lifestyle changes that will positively impact their well being
• Provide a safe environment for establishing relationships with others who have similar experiences
• Introduce participants to the many tools available at FirstHealth and other community programs
The eight-week program is conducted on the fourth floor of the FirstHealth Cancer Center. The individualized program focuses on improving functional strength, aerobic health, balance and mindfulness.

Relieve stress with this 60-minute class designed for cancer patients and their caregivers. Please bring your yoga mat or beach towel, pillow and blanket. This class is free and open to cancer patients and their caregivers.

Cancer and treatments for cancer can cause stress on the musculoskeletal system. Some cancer patients experience pain, fatigue, anxiety, muscle tension, headaches, or difficulty sleeping. Oncology massage is an approach to massage therapy based in both compassion and modification of existing massage therapy techniques in order to safely work with complications of cancer and help people manage their experience with cancer. Oncology massage can help improve quality of life for cancer patients and survivors.
