FirstHealth of the Carolinas is licensed for four hospitals with 546 beds in Pinehurst, Troy, Raeford and Rockingham. We offer a variety of hospital-based and outpatient services at our campuses, and we are ready to serve all the medical needs of patients and help support their caregivers. Moore Regional Hospital

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital is a 402-bed, acute care, not-for-profit hospital that serves as the referral center for a 15-county region in the Carolinas. Located in Pinehurst, N.C., it is the flagship hospital for FirstHealth. Moore Regional Hospital opened on November 25, 1929, with 33 beds, five bassinets and a staff of 27. Since then, Moore Regional Hospital has grown to include an active medical staff of 287 physicians, a professional staff of more than 2,700 and an average of 900 volunteers.

Dining Options

The Cafeteria at Moore Regional Hospital is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a variety of food options including hot entrees, grill items, salad bar, desserts and beverages, and more.

Open Monday-Sunday:

  • Breakfast: 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Dinner: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Late night: 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

The Bistro at Reid Heart Center is located on the first floor, to the left of the main lobby and offers grab and go items including sandwiches, salads, snack cups, fruits, freshly baked items, chips and more. The Bistro also offers specialty coffees, sodas, bottled water and fruit juices.

The Bistro at the FirstHealth Cancer Center is located in the main lobby on the first floor and features healthy and delicious smoothies, salads, flatbreads and more.

Pharmacy
FirstHealth Outpatient Pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged patients. The prescription service is available to patients who are discharged from an inpatient stay at Moore Regional Hospital, a FirstHealth outpatient clinic, the emergency department or other outpatient services. FirstHealth Outpatient Pharmacy provides routine prescription services and limited over-the-counter medication sales. The Outpatient Pharmacy also delivers to the bedside Monday through Friday with the ability to accept cash or credit/debit card payments.

Chaplain/Spiritual Care
Chaplain services are available to meet your spiritual needs. To reach chaplain services: Dial the operator at “0” 24 hours a day or (910) 715-1092 or 715-1955 to speak with someone in the Pastoral Care Office Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. A chapel is located on the Lobby Level next to the main entrance, and a worship service is held every Sunday from 9:30 to 10 a.m.

Interpreter Services
Interpreter services are available for non-Englishspeaking, deaf and hard-of-hearing patients at no charge. Ask your nurse for help.

Gift Shop
The Gift Shop at Moore Regional Hospital is located across from the visitor elevators (blue elevators) on the first floor and is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. To place an order, call (910) 715-1053.

Lodging/Hospitality Services
Located just across the street from FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, the Clara McLean House provides a safe, caring and quiet environment for affordable lodging and other supportive services. Loved ones and certain patients living at least 30 miles from the hospital may wish to stay at Clara’s House. Overnight rooms have comfortable queen size bed(s), bathrooms with showers or tubs, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Transportation to and from the hospital can be arranged and staff is on duty 24 hours a day. A large family kitchen is available to prepare your meals. Lodging includes a continental breakfast. Day rooms for showers and naps are also available. Housing can be arranged by referral through hospital staff. For more information, call (910) 715-4220. In addition to the Clara McLean House, FirstHealth of the Carolinas has partnered with local hotels to offer a discounted program to help patients and families find lodging when the need arises. These hotels provide a special rate for those going through treatment or for family members of a patient at Moore Regional Hospital. The Hospitality Services Program at Moore Regional Hospital also provides assistance with the following: meal vouchers, arrangements for transportation, navigation of health system and resources.

Moore Regional Hospital - Richmond

A 99-bed community hospital, FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Richmond (MRH-Richmond), serves the emergency, inpatient, outpatient and acute-care needs of the people of Richmond County and the surrounding area. The hospital first opened in 1952 and was originally certified for 50 beds. MRH-Richmond offers medical and surgical hospital services as well as unique specialized services.

Meal Service
The cafeteria is available to serve family, friends and employees for breakfast and lunch. Dietary will review the menu for patients and obtain your order for each meal. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 a.m. and lunch is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vending machines are located on the first floor of the hospital.

Chaplain/Spiritual Care
Local chaplains who volunteer their time to serve our patients provide 24-hour chaplain service. To speak with a chaplain, dial “0” on your telephone and ask the operator to contact the chaplain-oncall. A chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital, near the Intensive Care waiting room.

Gift Shop
The Gift Shop at Moore Regional Hospital – Richmond offers a wide variety of balloons, cards, snacks and drinks, and gifts for all ages. It is located off the main lobby on the ground floor. Hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Moore Regional Hospital - Hoke

FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke Campus opened its doors to patients on October 7, 2013, as the first hospital in Hoke County. The opening was a historic event for a county long acknowledged as one of the largest in the state without its own hospital. Located on Hwy 401, the hospital is anchored by a 24/7 emergency department. A quarter of the hospital houses an Imaging suite offering in-house services ranging from general X-ray to low-dose CT and nuclear medicine as well as the availability of mobile MRI.

Montgomery Memorial Hospital

FirstHealth Montgomery Memorial Hospital has served the emergency, outpatient and acute care needs of the people of Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1950. Consistently high patient satisfaction scores for the past three years at Montgomery Memorial indicate that patients are very pleased with the care they receive at their local hospital. Montgomery Memorial provides acute care for both medical and surgical patients, outpatient surgical services, imaging and other diagnostic services as well as an emergency department that is staffed with 24-hour in-house physician coverage.
